Care
World Football Exhibitions ensure that all the objects within our care, including those loaned by our portfolio of private collectors, are handled and stored, at all times, in a safe and secure way by our professionally qualified curators.
Our conservation reports ensure that those institutions and organisations receiving objects, as part of a World Football Exhibitions project, are satisfied with the condition of the artefacts prior to installation. All objects are stored and transported using appropriate, acid free materials giving maximum protection to our collections.
Documentation
Our qualified curators ensure that our objects are transported throughout the world safely and efficiently. Each object is fully documented detailing its condition, location, valuation and ownership. We can quickly locate and access objects that are the most relevant to any potential exhibition either in the UK or overseas.
Conservation
Working with Museum professionals we ensure that each individual object is fit for exhibiting. Professional conservators work with us to ensure that all our objects are in a suitable condition for display.
Environmental Conditions
Site visits, prior to installation, provide the team with an environmental condition report. The report allows us to advise partners on issues relating to the acceptable levels of humidity, temperature and light within our exhibitions. We can work with our chosen partners to ensure that artefacts are not damaged by inappropriate environmental conditions. A stable atmosphere needs to be in place, for the duration of any exhibition, to ensure the safety of exhibited materials. With our advice, we can ensure that this happens giving all our partners peace of mind.
